Latest Time To Make an EasyTour Ireland Reservation
The EasyTour Ireland Fully Inclusive, discounted rates, are for booking in advance of your arrival day in Ireland. The reservation MUST be RESERVED at least 10 hours prior the pick-up time. If you are traveling over several time zones please factor that in. For example, if you are traveling from the USA's West Coast you are 8 time zones earlier than Ireland. So if you try to make a reservation for an EasyTour Ireland, Fully Inclusive rate at 3:00P, it is already 11:00P in Ireland. If your pick-up time is 6:00AM, Irish time, then you are outside the booking window and the FULLY INCLUSIVE RATE will NOT be available. The Hertz widget will provide a car rental quote BUT is will NOT be the FULLY INCLUSIVE discounted rate.

Location opening hours
Airport locations are open to meet all scheduled flights. Dublin Downtown opens from 8:30 am through 5:30 pm Monday to Friday and from 9:00 am thru 4:30 pm Saturday & Sunday. Wexford Downtown opens from 9:00 am through 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.

Driver's License
All Drivers must hold and produce at time of rental a Full and Current U.S. State or National driver’s license valid for at least one year. Renters with UK photo card driving licenses must have the 2 parts of their current driving license in their possession at time of rental.

Driver Experience Requirements & Minimum Age Drivers
Driver must have been eligible to hold a valid driving license for at least the following number of years:

1. Minimum SIX (6) years are restricted to the following groups – A, B, C, E, F & R6

2. Minimum of TEN (10) years are restricted to the following groups – A, B, C, E, F, D, G, J, P, S, T, V, P, R6

4. Minimum of TWELVE (12) years can rent all car groups.

Drivers over 75 years are eligible to rent with the following specific conditions:
  You must drive on a regular basis
You will need to provide to the counter a letter from your insurance company to state that you have not had an accident within the last 5 years, that you hold a current policy of motor insurance with you and that you are currently driving.
You will need to provide a current letter from your doctor to state you have been in good health.  

Additional drivers
Charged at € 9.50 per day in Southern Ireland & £9 per day in Northern Ireland. (ex vat) in NI

Credit Card
On arrival, you will be asked to present your credit card. This credit card is required for the additional services and insurances taken such as extra drivers, fuel, etc…. It is important to make sure that there is sufficient credit on your card to cover all additional charges.

Grace period
Clients are allowed 29 minutes from time of pick=up.

Cross Border Driving
Easy Tour Ireland operates in both the North and South of Ireland so there is no extra fee for Cross border driving. Vehicles may not be taken off the Island of Ireland; failure to adhere to this will leave all insurances taken null and void.

Southern Ireland one way Rentals
Are free between Dublin, Shannon and Cork Airport locations and between Dublin Downtown & Dublin Airport
Any other one-way rental in Southern Ireland will incur the following fees:
•For rentals of 1 to 4 days the fee is €70. Rentals 5 days and over the fee is €25
•For Rentals commencing in Southern Ireland & returning to Northern Ireland the fee is €160

Northern Ireland one way Rentals
• Are free between Belfast locations. For rentals between Derry Airport & Belfast locations the fee is £50
• For Rentals commencing in Northern Ireland and returning to Southern Ireland the fee is £120
Excess Amounts
All vehicles have an excess/deductible amount ranging from €1200 to €2500 based on the size or value of the car reserved. For rentals commencing in Northern Ireland Excess amounts range from £550 - £1200. The - FULLY INCLUSIVE RATE -INCLUDES ‘Super CDW Cover’ insurance and waives this excess.

SUPER CDW COVERAGE is included in the Fully Inclusive Rate*
*Please note SUPER CDW COVERAGE will NOT cover you for damage to Tires, damage to Wheels, loss of Keys, Contamination of fuel or Neverlost Navigation units*

Please note: Tire and wheel damage is not covered by any Irish auto insurance policy. None of the car rental companies in Ireland cover tire damage and wheel damage. Even Irish personal auto insurance policies exclude that coverage.

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY INSURANCE (INCLUDED IN FULLY INCLUSIVE RATE)
is provided for persons using the vehicle with Hertz' permission (and not otherwise) in accordance with an automobile liability insurance policy, a copy of which is obtainable upon request. This policy meets all legal requirements and protects the authorized driver of the vehicle against legal claims from third parties for personal injury or material damage caused by use of the vehicle. The conditions of the insurance contract, including any territorial restrictions, are incorporated as an integral part of the Rental Record.

Baby Seats
Are available to Pre-book for a fee of €40 payable at the desk on arrival. Booster Seats are available for a fee of €15 payable at the desk on arrival. For Northern Ireland rentals Baby seats are £9 per day (ex VAT

GPS units
Using Satellite Navigation makes driving in Ireland so much easier. Portable units are available to pre-book for a fee of €14.00 (excluding tax) per day & €65.00 (excluding tax) per week in Southern Ireland and for a fee of £14.00 (excluding tax) per day & £65.00 (excluding tax) per week in Northern Ireland- which is payable at desk upon arrival.

Tolls/Fines
Barrier free tolling is in place between Junction 6 and 7 on the M50 in Dublin. There is no cash payment facility at this point. Please note that Hertz have all of their vehicles registered with the Toll Operator and therefore Hertz will be automatically charged for each toll incurred. A toll fee of €3.00 per usage will be charged to you directly by Hertz. Hertz will be advised after the rental of the toll charge accrued for each rental and will charge your credit card separately.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your reservation for any reason, you must telephone Easy Tour Ireland at (385) 282 5265 or email to res@EasyTourIreland.com and be ready to quote the information contained on the front of your Reservation Confirmation. There is NO cancellation fee. We ask that you cancel out of consideration that you won't be using the car you rented.

Early Return
Please note that we are unable to give a refund for any unused portion of the rental.
